We all want to make more money.
Anyways, after looking for some more ways to make money myself, I came up with these 5 brilliant ways.
5 Brilliant Ways To Make More Money
#1. Scour Craigslist
This is probably the easiest of the ways. Simply check out the “gigs” section on Craigslist. There you will find all sorts of things you can do to make a few extra bucks. Just to name a few:
- Help someone move
- Join a focus group
- Hand out flyers
- Be an extra in movies
- Help someone with yard work
- Edit a resume
- Write some blog posts
As I’ve said, there are tons of ways for you to make more money on Craigslist. Just take some time to look around and I am sure you will find something.
#2. Dumpster Dive
Almost just as easy is to dumpster dive. People throw out a ton of stuff that is still useful. After all, the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure” didn’t just come out of thin air.
And if you don’t want to actually dumpster dive, be proactive. Before the college year ends, put up flyers or advertise on local college campuses letting people know to call or text you with their stuff.
#3. Take Surveys
This option will take some time, but you can make a good amount of money from taking surveys. I’ve been taking them for years and average a few hundred dollars a year. You can check out this review for an overview on what survey sites to use and what ones to avoid.
But to save you some time, here is a short list of my absolute favorite:
#4. Bartend/Bar back
If you are an outgoing person, becoming a bartender is a great way to make more money. Just a couple of nights could bring in a few hundred dollars. You could even look to places off the beaten track to tend bar. When I was younger, I was a member of the local bar in the firehouse. The bartenders there didn’t make a ton on tips, but they were paid $10/hour so in the end, they made out well.
If you don’t know how to make drinks or don’t want to schmooze with people, look at becoming a bar back. With this job you will keep the bar stocked and keep the glasses clean and ice chests filled. It’s a good amount of work, but you make a decent amount of money. Many places will have the bartender split the tips with you too.
